Events & Performances

Documenting reality for viewing online by those who were unable experience it first-hand.

The Creative Cortex is a visual storyteller and has the ability to present an event in its entirety from a perspective of an audience member. This helps those who were unable to attend and event to have a chance to experience it in full or through recap videos. TCC coordinated and executed the shoots, the editing, and all post-production finishes. They were done on limited budgets and with limited resources, demonstrating our ability to "do a lot with just a little" while not sacrificing quality.

Q and A Event

The Thing Group Tribute Art Show

Creature Features - Burbank CA

An art show containing artwork produced professionally for the production as well as original "fan art" was held at the movie collectibles store Creature Features. TCC was asked to document the opening night. TCC approached the shoot as though it was an alien observer, lurking about the crowd. Together with the soundtrack from the film, the show has a slightly unsettling atmosphere.

The Rocketeer Group Tribute Art Show

Creature Features - Burbank CA

For the same venue, TCC documented another tribute art show.  This time art produced by te original creator of The Rocketeer and that produced by fans was brought together in this show. TCC approached the shoot from more of a first person exploratory perspective - almost borderline from a child's point of view. Together with the music from the film, a more adventurous tone was achieved.

Tyler Bates CD Signing Recap
